Eighty students took part in total \u2014 44 first-years, 26 second-years, and 10 third-years \u2014 all there to build Chinese language and cultural knowledge through hands-on arts and culture activities they could carry into everyday life and share with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr.Waranee Vessoontorntep, Vice President for the Suphanburi Campus, presided over the opening. Mrs. Wei Yubing, the Confucius Institute&#8217;s Chinese-side Director, and Asst.Prof. Dr. Sarit Sriyothin, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, joined in giving students an encouraging send-off before the day&#8217;s activities got underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Activity 1 opened with a lesson on Chinese table manners and food etiquette, taught by Ms. Zhang Ruoqi from the Confucius Institute. Activity 2 introduced students to Chinese culinary culture through a hands-on tangyuan-making experience (\u7f8e\u98df\u4f53\u9a8c\uff1a\u6c64\u5706). Activity 3 rotated students through several traditional arts stations: Chinese ink painting (\u56fd\u753b), five-in-a-row chess (\u4e94\u5b50\u68cb), tea ceremony (\u8336\u827a), and Chinese paper-cutting (\u4e2d\u56fd\u526a\u7eb8). Activity 4 gave students a walking challenge to reach the finish line together, paired with a game connecting seniors and freshmen. Activity 5 was a talent showcase and networking session bringing different class years together on stage. Activity 6 featured a special lecture on Western table manners and dining etiquette, led by Instructor Konthawan Kunsuk. Activity 7 wrapped things up with a visit to the Chinese Culture Center, Ban Songkwan, and a tour of the Dragon Descendants Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project ran July 25\u201326, 2026, at the
