Science Center Convenes Executive Committee Meeting No. 1(6)/2026
Acting Sub Lt. Dr.Varatorn Apirat, Director of the University Office, presided over the Science Center Executive Committee Meeting No. 1(6)/2026. The session was held on January 5, 2026, at the 5th-floor Conference Room of the University Administration Building to review progress and approve upcoming environmental and operational strategies.
The meeting’s agenda covered several high-priority initiatives, including:
- Review of Previous Resolutions: The committee formally acknowledged the reports from the Executive Committee (Operations) Meetings No. 7(9)/2025 (held November 6, 2025) and No. 8(10)/2025 (held December 4, 2025).
- Environmental Sustainability Projects:“Green University: Trash-to-Turn for a Memorable World (Upvel 3)”: An initiative focused on waste transformation.
- Plastic Bank Plus: A strategic waste management and recycling program.
- Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Mechanism: A development plan aimed at establishing a Net Zero Pathway within Suan Dusit University for the 2025 fiscal year.
- Operational Progress: A comprehensive report was presented regarding university operations for the first quarter of the 2026 fiscal year (covering October–December 2025).
- Social Responsibility & Disaster Relief: The committee discussed the “Turning Caps into Classroom Supplies” activity, a collaborative effort to support schools affected by floods in Southern Thailand.
- National Policy Alignment: The session reviewed the National Dust Pollution Mitigation Action Plan (Phase 2, 2025–2027) to ensure the university’s operations align with Thailand’s national environmental agenda.
