Faculty of Education Participates in Training Program for Disability Assistants Supporting Social Development Volunteers
Suan Dusit University’s Faculty of Education, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Venus Sakulhom, Dean of the Faculty, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Parima Vinitasatitkun, Head of the Special Education Center, participated in the opening ceremony of the training program for disability assistants for social development and human security volunteers.
The ceremony was held on February 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pakorn Angsusingh Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Department of Social Development and Welfare Building. The event was presided over by Mr. Kantapong Rangsisawang, Director-General of the Department of Social Development and Welfare.
On this occasion, the Special Education Center of the Faculty of Education serves as the main team of lecturers throughout the program, providing knowledge and practical training for Social Development and Human Security Volunteers (อ.พม.). The training focuses on enhancing understanding and skills in assisting persons with disabilities within communities in Bangkok.
The program is scheduled in two sessions: February 16–20 and February 23–27, 2026, at the Prachabodi Institute, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province, aiming to strengthen community-based support systems for persons with disabilities.
