Demonstration School of La-or Utis, Nakhon Nayok, organized the Chinese New Year celebration “Happy Chinese New Year 2026.”
On February 17, 2026, Demonstration School of La-or Utis, Nakhon Nayok, held a Chinese New Year event under the theme “Happy Chinese New Year 2026.” The activity aimed to provide students with opportunities to learn about and experience Chinese culture in a creative way, enhance their understanding of cultural diversity, develop creative thinking, and foster an international perspective alongside joyful collaboration.
The event featured activities designed to suit the developmental stages of students at each level, as follows:
* Nursery–Kindergarten 1 students participated in Chinese character stamping, creating the word “Good Fortune.”
* Kindergarten 2–3 students joined a light clay modeling activity based on the Chinese zodiac for 2026 (Year of the Horse).
* Primary 1–2 students enjoyed making Peking (Beijing) opera masks.
* Primary 3 students learned about the meaning and significance of “red envelopes” (angpao).
* Primary 4–6 students took part in crafting Lucky Chinese Knots using yarn.
This event created a lively learning atmosphere filled with fun, laughter, and cooperation among students of all levels. It reflects an educational approach that emphasizes integrated learning and broadens students’ cultural perspectives.
