The Human Capital Development Center of Suan Dusit University organized a workshop on Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and Social Return on Investment (SROI), aiming to promote sustainable development.
The workshop was designed to enhance in-depth understanding of evaluating the success and impact of development projects and social enterprises. Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitauk Chancharoen, President of Suan Dusit University, presided over the opening ceremony.
The event also featured a keynote lecture by Mr. Setthapoom Buathong, Director of the Social Return on Investment Research and Development Center, Pridi Banomyong International College, Thammasat University (SROI TU). He shared knowledge and practical experience on the application of SIA and SROI tools in social enterprises and development projects.
The program included both lectures and hands-on workshops on topics such as:
- Applying SIA and SROI tools to social enterprises and development projects
- Designing development projects that effectively address stakeholder needs
- Evaluating social returns on investment (SROI)
The workshop aimed to equip project developers, administrators, and related professionals with internationally recognized evaluation tools that can be applied to organizational development and social advancement with maximum effectiveness.
The event was held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Meeting Room 201, 2nd Floor, Dr. Sirote Phonpanthin Building, Suan Dusit University.
