Northern Field Study Program: Day 1 in Lampang and Lamphun

Students joined Day 1 of the Northern Field Study Program on February 28, 2026. The trip took them to several places in Lampang and Lamphun.

The first stop was Suan Dusit University, Lampang Education Center, where students learned about natural-dye textile work. They then visited Wat Phra Kaeo Don Tao Suchadaram to pay respects and see examples of Lanna craftwork.

The group later went to Lamphun and visited Wat Chamathewi, also known as Wat Ku Kut. Students learned about Queen Chamathewi and Kruba Sriwichai, and some students practiced presenting information about the temple.

The last stop was Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, an old temple connected with the Hariphunchai Kingdom and Lanna history.
