Tourism Program Lecturer Gives Training on Koh Mook

Dr. Thanawit Piandee, a lecturer in the Tourism Program at Suan Dusit University, Trang Education Center, joined the “Young Local Guide Training Program” as a speaker on February 24–25, 2026, on Koh Mook, Trang Province.

The training was arranged by the Academic Planning and Tourism Promotion Division of Koh Libong Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Forty Grade 5 students from Ban Koh Mook School, Village No. 2, Koh Libong Subdistrict, Kantang District, took part in the program.

The activities focused on local culture and basic tour guiding. Students learned how to introduce places in their community and practiced using tourism knowledge in real situations.

The training included both talks and field practice at places around Koh Mook, such as Koh Mook Pier Bridge, Dugong Observation Tower, Farang Beach or Charlie Beach, Miss Island Bakery & Restaurant @ Koh Mook, and a coconut shell handicraft shop.
