Suan Dusit University Joins STKS New ERA Seminar on AI and Open Science

Suan Dusit University joined the academic seminar “STKS New ERA: One Click to Science Knowledge – AI & Open Science,” organized by Science and Technology Knowledge Services (STKS), Department of Science Service.

Dr. Potjaman Thajin, Deputy Director-General and Acting Director-General of the Department of Science Service, opened the seminar. The seminar focused on making science, technology and innovation information easier to access through an integrated search system that is convenient, fast and easy to use.

Asst.Prof.Dr. Thipsuda Kitlert, Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, and Assistant Professor Dr. Uearee Jantra, Assistant Director, were speakers in Session 3, a participatory workshop on “Designing Information Services for Science, Technology, and Environment in the Era of AI and Open Science.”

Mr. Teeraboon Dejudom, Assistant Director, Ms. Pradabsri Netnee, Head of the Library Division, and staff from the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology also joined the exhibition booth “One World Library.” The booth presented the One World Library concept and showed how information resources can be connected in the digital age.

More than 250 participants from over 120 organizations joined the seminar, both on site and online. Participants included executives, staff, researchers, technology developers and information professionals.

The event was held on March 5, 2026, at Wittayawithi Conference Room, 6th Floor, Scientist Building, Department of Science Service.
