Suan Dusit University Holds Tattoo Artist Training for Professional Tattoo Artists

On June 27, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jirat Chuanchom, Head of the research project from Suan Dusit University, opened the “Tattoo Artist Training” program.

The training began with basic knowledge of tattooing. Mr. Krit Lueangcheng, President of the Tattoo Business Operators Trade Association, gave an introduction to the tattoo profession and shared knowledge with the participants.

The program also included a session on safety and hygiene. Dr. Weerada Tan-iang, a dermatologist and aesthetic physician at Phyathai 2 Hospital, explained tattoo care, aftercare, basic first aid, and CPR for emergency situations.

Ajarn Atsana Praditsin, President of the Thailand Rescue Club, added practical guidance on emergency care.

Ajarn Wilas Hangsong, a lecturer in the Bachelor of Laws Program, School of Law and Politics, Suan Dusit University, gave a session on legal issues related to tattoo work. Participants also joined a discussion and asked questions during the session.

The program ended with a special talk on the present and future direction of the tattoo profession. The session was led by representatives from the Tattoo Business Operators Trade Association together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jirat Chuanchom.

At the end of the activity, certificates were given to participants who completed the training. The “Tattoo Artist Training” program supported professional standards in Thailand’s tattoo industry, including beauty, safety, hygiene, and legal knowledge.

The training was held at Asawin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.
