Suan Dusit University Holds Peer Support Day #3 for Mental Health and Peer Care
Suan Dusit University organized Peer Support Day #3 under the campaign “Every Worry Matters… Let Us Take Care of You.”
The program was led by Asst. Prof. Patsarin Korlertworapong, a member of SDU SMARTS Batch 2 and a committee member of the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The Human Resource Management Division and the Student Development Division also worked on the project.
This program followed the cooperation between Suan Dusit University and the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health. It encouraged students and staff to notice mental health issues, listen with care, and support one another within the university.
The third session carried the topic “Understanding Mental Health and Psychiatry.” The university used Room 301 on the 3rd floor of the Human Capital Development Center, Dr. Sirote Pholpuntin Building, for the session on June 29, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Zoom was also provided for those joining online.
Dr. Pongsakorn Lengdee, Director of Mental Health Center 13 under the Department of Mental Health, shared simple guidance on mental health, psychiatric care, and emotional self-care in daily life.
Asst. Prof. Patsarin Korlertworapong moderated the session. Ms. Kanchana Phiwnam provided sign language interpretation.
Students, staff, outside participants, and partner networks were present. The response showed that people still need spaces where they can talk, listen, and care for one another.
