SDU Green & Clean Workshop Promotes Waste Sorting for Sustainability

The Sanitation and Hygiene Unit, Division of Buildings and Facilities, worked with the Environment Center, Faculty of Science and Technology, to organize the SDU Green & Clean workshop on waste management and sorting for sustainability.

Assoc.Prof. Dr.Chanasuek Nichanong, Vice President for Management, Research and Innovation, welcomed participants and opened the workshop.

Dr. Pornthida Thepparasit, Director of the Environment Center, Faculty of Science and Technology, gave a talk on the importance of waste sorting and environmental care within Suan Dusit University.

Mr. Suphat Mangsathong, an engineer from the Division of Buildings and Facilities, gave a session on workplace ergonomics and how to work more safely and comfortably.

In the afternoon, participants joined learning stations on environmental care, safe use of cleaning chemicals, waste management, wet waste, smart service technology, ergonomics, hazardous waste, PPE use, useful sorting tips, and proper waste separation.

The workshop took place on June 30, 2026, at Room 301, 3rd Floor, Human Capital Development Center, Suan Dusit University.
