SDU and Toyota Motor Thailand Begin Cooperation on Food Science and Home Economics

The MOU ceremony took place at The Library Café, 2nd Floor, One World Library Building, Suan Dusit University, on July 1, 2026.

The cooperation will link Suan Dusit University’s knowledge in food science and home economics with Toyota’s experience in business, people development, and organizational work.

Assoc.Prof.Pacharee Suankaew, Vice President for Student Affairs, signed on behalf of Suan Dusit University. Mr. Surapoom Udomwong, Deputy Managing Director, signed on behalf of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd.

The signing was witnessed by representatives from both organizations, including Dr.Chanchana Siripanwattana, Manager of Suan Dusit Home Bakery; Asst.Prof. Dr.Nopphorn Phaet-rat, Deputy Director and Acting Director of Lampang Education Center; Ms. Paweena Nantikulwanich, Assistant Managing Director; and Ms. Tharinee Kanchanurak, Department Director.

University executives, lecturers, staff from Bangkok and Lampang Education Center, and Toyota executives also joined the ceremony.

Assoc.Prof.Pacharee Suankaew said the cooperation is an important step between education and business. The partnership will combine Suan Dusit University’s knowledge in food science and home economics with Toyota’s business potential.

The cooperation will focus on three main areas: learning from real work experience, giving students opportunities to practice in business settings, and developing skills that match future workplace needs.

Mr. Surapoom Udomwong said Toyota sees people as an important part of growth. Working with Suan Dusit University gives both sides a chance to build a learning and development system that can support the economy and society in the long term.

After the signing ceremony, Toyota Motor Thailand introduced products under the “Togeta” brand. Executives and guests also visited the Togeta innovation exhibition in front of the One World Library Building. The exhibition tour was led by Mr. Kamphon Prachayaset, Deputy Department Director of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd.
