SDU Management Faculty Talks Rice Marketing in Suphan Buri

Suan Dusit University’s Faculty of Management Science ran a creative marketing communication workshop under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Suan Dusit University chapter (RSPG-SDU), for fiscal year 2026.

Nichapa Le-rosong, an analyst and project developer, led the session on creative marketing communication. She walked the group through why growing rice alone no longer cuts it in today’s market, what modern consumers actually want, and where old-school rice-selling habits fall short.

The talk covered the basics of marketing communication and the “5A” customer framework, then pushed further into branding — arguing that “delicious” isn’t enough of a selling point anymore, and that rice growers need a real brand story to stand out.

The workshop ran on July 17, 2026, at the Sanam Khli Subdistrict Office, Mueang District, Suphan Buri Province.
