SDU Joins Mobile Agriculture Clinic in Trang

His Majesty the King turns another year older on July 28, and in Trang, that meant a Mobile Agricultural Clinic — the kind run under his own royal patronage — setting up shop for farmers in the area. Suan Dusit University sent a team to help staff it. Doors opened at 10.00 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Wang Si Subdistrict Administrative Organization office, Huai Yot District.

The university’s booth centered on Khao Ba Yod Muang, a local purple-tipped rice variety, and what can be made from it. Sai ua sausage stuffed with the rice sat alongside rice waffles, both there to make one point clear to visiting farmers: this crop can go further than the sack it’s sold in.
