SDU Runs Free Meal Program for Students
Suan Dusit University’s Career and Education Guidance Information Center, under the Student Development Division, teamed up with the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, the Office of Special Affairs, Suan Dusit Kitchen, and Suan Dusit Poll to run “Full Belly, Sharp Mind, Full of Interest, Learning Through Flavor Together” — a free meal project for students.
Meals ran across three locations: Suan Dusit Kitchen, Buildings 11 and 12, Dusit Narumon Dining Hall at the Science Center, and Dusit Ekaphon Dining Hall at the Suphanburi Campus. Students turned out in strong numbers.
Asst.Prof.Dr.Khajeenuch Chaovanprecha sponsored the meal service at Suan Dusit Kitchen, Building 11. Prof.Dr.Thanin Sitthiwiratdham, Asst.Prof.Thitiporn Linittha, Dr.Sawitree Moonsuwan, and Instructor Chanisara Methakornkit sponsored the Dusit Narumon Dining Hall at the Science Center. Sirinthorn Khun and Chatsinee Promsiri sponsored the Dusit Ekaphon Dining Hall at the Suphanburi Campus.
The program exists to give students an extra, proper meal that meets their real nutritional needs, easing living costs and acting as a genuine student welfare measure. It’s also become something of a shared effort — administrators, faculty, and staff pitching in to cover meal costs and keep the program running.
