Trang Education Center Holds “Fill Love, Sow Happiness, Build Suan Dusit Strength” Activity, Extending Care to Trang’s Elderly Community
Monday, July 20, 2026, Suan Dusit University’s Trang Education Center ran its “Fill Love, Sow Happiness, Build Suan Dusit Strength” activity at Ban Sri Trang Elderly Care Center. Dr. Songsakda Chayanukroh, Director of the Trang Education Center, and Dr. Teeradech Rakthai, Deputy Director, led staff and first- and second-year Culinary Technology and Service students in taking part together.
The activity aimed to build students’ volunteer spirit, encouraging them to give back and create social value through direct, hands-on community engagement. Students brought essential supplies for the elderly residents — diapers for adults, medical-grade food, and other necessities — while also organizing recreational activities designed to bring happiness, warmth, and a sense of connection to Trang’s elderly community.
The event was organized by the Student Development Committee, working alongside two courses: Course 1600201 “Suan Dusit Strength,” taught by Instructor Makhakrit Suchuay, and Course 1600502 “The World Isn’t Always Fair,” taught by Dr. Yusaree Aparb. The activity blends social-service learning with academic coursework, helping students grow their life skills, sense of social responsibility, and awareness of the value of giving.
