Suan Dusit University’s Nakhon Nayok Education Center Takes Part in the Candle Procession Festival, Mueang Nakhon Nayok District, 2026

Faculty and students from Suan Dusit University’s Bachelor of Education programs — Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education — joined Mueang Nakhon Nayok District’s 2026 Candle Procession Festival, helping organize and decorate a candle procession float. The float joined a larger parade alongside government agencies, educational institutions, cultural networks, and local community members, winding through the district’s main roads before delivering candles to various temples. Participants took part in a ceremony offering candles at Wat Sirivin.

The event helps preserve and pass on this treasured Thai tradition, strengthening cooperation between the university, government agencies, communities, and local networks — all while planting a deeper sense of pride in Thai arts, culture, and Buddhism for generations to come.

The festival ran July 24, 2026, at Wat Sirivin, Tha Sri Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Nayok District, Nakhon Nayok Province.
