Suan Dusit University Nakhon Nayok Education Center Holds “Play, Learn, Experience the Thai Phuan Way: Pai Kaloe Market Thai Phuan” Activity

Suan Dusit University’s Nakhon Nayok Education Center held the activity “Play, Learn, Experience the Thai Phuan Way: Pai Kaloe Market Thai Phuan” to promote learning about and help preserve the Thai Phuan cultural identity of Nakhon Nayok Province. The activity was organized by instructors and second-year students of the Bachelor of Education Program in Early Childhood Education, who designed and set up activity stations for students of the Laor-Utis Demonstration School, Nakhon Nayok Education Center.

There were five stations in total. At Station 1, children played Mon Sorn Pha, a traditional Thai hide-and-seek game. Station 2 involved movement to rhythm. Station 3 featured Lam Tad, a Thai Phuan folk verse performance. Station 4 had children move using props along with music. At Station 5, children sang Thai Phuan songs. The event also included a display and sale of Thai Phuan community products and handicrafts. Participants could view and buy the local goods. They could also learn about Thai Phuan life, traditions, and identity directly from community members.

Instructors said the activity gave students practice in planning, organizing, teamwork, and creating learning experiences for children, while also helping preserve Thai Phuan cultural heritage and build local pride. The event was held on July 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Suan Dusit University’s Nakhon Nayok Education Center.
