Suan Dusit University Trang Instructors Serve as Guest Speakers for Science Camp in English, Building Science and English Skills for Young Students

Huai Yot School in Trang Province wanted a Science Camp taught in English — so they called in Instructor Chadawan Sirijarukul from Suan Dusit University’s Trang Education Center, along with a few colleagues, to run it. The idea: teach science the active-learning way, but do it all in English — discussion, presentations, the works. That forces a few other skills along for the ride too. Critical thinking. Problem-solving. Working as a team. Confidence in front of a group. All the usual 21st-century-skills checklist items, basically, just picked up sideways while doing science in a second language.

Seventy Mathayom 2 (grade 8) students sat through it on August 2, 2026, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the Inthanin 2 meeting room, Building 12, Huai Yot School, Huai Yot District, Trang Province.
