Suan Dusit University Signs MOU with the Thai-Muslim Business Association to Support Education, Business Management, and Research Development

Suan Dusit University held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with the Thai-Muslim Business Association to jointly support academic instruction, business unit management, and research development. The MOU was signed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitauk Chancharoen, President of Suan Dusit University, and Mr. Marut Mekloy, President of the Thai-Muslim Business Association. Witnesses included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanasuek Nichanong, Vice President for Administration, Research, and Innovation at Suan Dusit University, and Dr. Fuad Gansan, Vice President of the Association. The ceremony was held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Karla Conference Room, Suan Dusit Place Hotel, Suan Dusit University.

This MOU outlines the objectives and scope of collaboration between Suan Dusit University and the Thai-Muslim Business Association as follows:

  1. Educational and Training Collaboration: To cooperate in developing teaching, training, professional practice, and skill development related to real-world operations, enhancing professional potential for both parties’ personnel.
  2. Knowledge and Research Exchange: To collaborate and exchange knowledge in business service skills, academic expertise, research, and academic services, aiming to strengthen personnel capabilities and elevate operational quality.
  3. Promoting Muslim-Friendly Standards: To jointly promote and provide knowledge about Muslim-Friendly Hospitality Standards, Halal Standards, Islamic marketing, and the development of Thai halal products and services.
  4. Expanding Hospitality Services: To support and expand the implementation of the Global Muslim-Friendly Hospitality Index (GMHI) in establishments affiliated with Suan Dusit University.
  5. Knowledge Sharing: To collaborate in sharing knowledge and practices related to the association’s operations with Suan Dusit University to enrich its educational and administrative practices.
