Suan Dusit University Students Win 3 Awards in Short Video Contest Celebrating 50 Years of China–Thailand Diplomatic Relations
Suan Dusit University proudly celebrates the success of its students who won three awards in the short video competition “My China–Thailand Story,” part of the celebration marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. The competition drew over 100 video entries from participants in both countries, showcasing stories of friendship and cultural exchange through personal perspectives.
On June 30, 2025, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, hosted the 50th Anniversary Celebration of China–Thailand Diplomatic Relations at Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-naet, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, represented Suan Dusit University at the event and congratulated the award-winning students.
The competition invited participants to share meaningful and touching stories reflecting the strong and enduring friendship between China and Thailand. The entries demonstrated the essence of the phrase “China and Thailand are not strangers; we are family.” After thorough evaluation by a panel of distinguished judges, Suan Dusit University students from the Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business (Chinese–ASEAN Business) program, Faculty of Management Science, received the following honors:

- Ms. Nichapat Sathitluechai for the video “Chinese New Year in My Hometown”
Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-naet, also the Chair of the BBA in International Business (Chinese–ASEAN Business) Program, expressed her admiration and pride in the students’ dedication to personal development and active participation in a national-level cultural event. She emphasized that this achievement reflects not only their interest in international relations and cross-cultural understanding, but also their creativity, communication skills, confidence, and global mindset. Most importantly, it signifies their readiness to grow into high-quality individuals in line with the university’s mission to nurture responsible global citizens.
