Suan Dusit University Receives Award for Excellence in Sustainable Behavior Change and Recycling under the “ECOLIFE in U” Project Toward Carbon Neutrality
Bangkok, September 18, 2025 – Suan Dusit University has been honored with the award for “The University with the Most Sustainable Behavior Change and the Highest Volume of Waste Separation for Recycling through the ECOUFE Platform” under the project “ECOLIFE in U: Toward Carbon Neutrality.”
The award was received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-naet, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Relations, Suan Dusit University, from Mr. Phanphoemsak Aroonee, Assistant Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, who presided over the ceremony.
The “ECOLIFE in U” Project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and KIDKID Co., Ltd. It aims to promote environmentally friendly behavior among students, faculty, and staff in higher education institutions nationwide. The initiative underscores the vital role of universities in driving Thai society toward carbon neutrality through eco-friendly activities supported by the ECOLIFE Platform.
On this occasion, Dr. Pornthida Thepprasit, Director of the Environmental Center, Faculty of Science and Technology, along with university staff and students, also participated in the event. The ceremony took place at the Press Conference Room, 1st Floor, King Mongkut Building, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
