Suan Dusit University Holds Ceremony to Pay Tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother

Suan Dusit University organized a ceremony to express heartfelt condolences and pay tribute to the immeasurable royal benevolence of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitauk Chancharoen, President of Suan Dusit University, and attended by university executives, faculty members, staff, students, and representatives from La-orutis Demonstration School. The event took place at the multipurpose area on the first floor of the University Administration Building on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

During the ceremony, the president, together with executives and personnel, observed 93 seconds of silence in remembrance of Her Majesty’s boundless kindness and gracious benevolence. Participants also signed the condolence book to honor Her Majesty’s legacy.

Throughout Her Majesty’s lifetime, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, devoted her strength, wisdom, and compassion to improving the well-being of the Thai people. Her Majesty’s dedication to supporting the underprivileged, promoting self-reliance, and advancing sustainable development has had a profound impact on the nation.

Her Majesty’s benevolence continues to inspire and remains deeply cherished in the hearts of the Thai people. Although Her Majesty has passed, her royal initiatives, teachings, and guidance continue to illuminate the path forward for the nation.
