Suan Dusit University’s RSPG Coordination Center Participates in the 12th Academic Conference and Exhibition on “Thai Resources: Revisiting Our Heritage”

The Coordination Center for the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Suan Dusit University (RSPG–SDU) participated in the 12th Academic Conference and Exhibition titled “Thai Resources: Revisiting Our Heritage.”

The center showcased seven works from Suan Dusit University’s project promoting the conservation and utilization of plant genetic resources derived from Suphanburi Hom Mali rice. The exhibited works included:

  1. Development of Suphanburi Hom Mali Cream Soup enriched with kai pam (duckweed) chicken flavor, packaged in retort pouches
  2. Development of Chicken Congee made from broken Suphanburi Hom Mali rice, packaged in retort pouches
  3. Development of traditional local dishes using Suphanburi Hom Mali rice to preserve cultural heritage and local wisdom
  4. Development of gift baskets made from Suphanburi Hom Mali rice straw
  5. Development of panna cotta made from Suphanburi Hom Mali rice sprouts
  6. Development of a cereal beverage blended with Suphanburi Hom Mali rice germ and fortified with golden pea protein

The exhibition took place from 4 to 10 November 2025 at Maejo University, Chiang Mai Province.
