School of Culinary Arts Launches ‘Eating Design for Kids’ Program (Class 2) Under the ‘New Breed Graduate’ Initiative to Drive Thailand’s Higher Education Reform 2025

Asst.Prof. Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Thanapat Saengrungrueang, Dean of the School of Culinary Arts, Suan Dusit University, welcomed participants and officially opened the teaching and learning activities of the 2nd cohort of the “Eating Design for Kids” program. The program was conducted under the New-Generation Graduate and Competency-Based Workforce Development Project, designed to respond to the needs of the production sector in accordance with Thailand’s Higher Education Reform Policy 2025. The course was offered as a certificate program.

The event featured a series of hands-on workshops on school lunch services and child development. The speakers included Ms. Wanarat Pianpiamsin, an early childhood development specialist and Assistant Director of the Child Development Center, Sirindhorn Rajavidhyalaya College under Royal Patronage, Nakhon Pathom Province, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Parima Vinitastitkun, Acting Head of the Special Education Center, who delivered a session on Food and the Development of School-Age Children.

In addition, Dr. Passanan Yaemchamprai, Project Manager of School Lunch Project 1 (Suan Dusit Kitchen), and Ms. Nonglak Boonthongsuk, Head of the Food Production Section of School Lunch Project 1 (Suan Dusit Kitchen), served as speakers on the topic of Managing School Lunch Services for La-or Utit Demonstration School Students.

The training was held at the Kala Conference Room, Suan Dusit Place Hotel, on 20 December 2025.
