Suan Dusit University Deploys Student Volunteers to Support ‘BANGKOK MIDNIGHT MARATHON 2025

On December 21, 2025, Suan Dusit University (SDU), spearheaded by the Student Development Division under the supervision of Mr. Supakiat Onsawai, mobilized a team of 198 students to provide operational support for the 8th annual “BANGKOK MIDNIGHT MARATHON 2025.” The event featured 21-kilometer and 10-kilometer races, drawing runners to iconic locations including the Royal Clock Tower on Sanam Chai Road and Lan Khon Mueang at Bangkok City Hall.

The SDU contingent, comprising members of the Student Government, the Student Council, and the general student body, took on various essential roles to ensure the event’s success. Their responsibilities included managing check-in counters, overseeing baggage drop-off points, coordinating food and beverage services, and officiating the finisher medal distribution.

This initiative provided a valuable platform for students to gain hands-on experience in large-scale event management. Beyond practical training, the program aimed to generate supplemental income, foster career-building skills, and promote employment opportunities for students. By participating in one of Bangkok’s most prestigious sporting events, SDU students demonstrated their readiness to enter the professional workforce with confidence and efficiency.
