Education and Career Guidance Information Center Holds Buddhist Prayer Ceremony to Dedicate Merit

Suan Dusit University’s Education and Career Guidance Information Center held a Buddhist prayer ceremony this past Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Royal Portrait Room on the second floor of Building 1. Monks from Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram Ratchaworawihan were invited to come and lead the chanting, and staff and students from the center gathered to take part.

In Thai Buddhist and royal tradition, merit-making ceremonies are typically held at set intervals after a person’s passing, including on the 50th day, as a way of dedicating merit to the departed. This particular ceremony was held to mark that 50th-day milestone for Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, Kromluang Rajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.
