English and Korean for Cross-Cultural Communication Program Builds Students’ Language Skills and Entrepreneurship

The English and Korean for Cross-Cultural Communication program, under Suan Dusit University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, ran an activity focused on sharpening students’ language skills alongside their entrepreneurial and career readiness. Mr. Kananat Pothinimitr, a Korean-language interpreter with wide experience across government, private business, and Korea’s entertainment industry, led the session.

His lecture centered on communicating in Korean within the food and restaurant business, giving students insight into how the language actually gets used in Korean culinary settings — plus tips on building entrepreneurial and career skills along the way. Asst.Prof. Nantaporn Rujikhajorn, a faculty member at the School of Culinary Arts, joined as a guest speaker, teaching students how to prepare Korean dishes from someone who knows the cuisine firsthand.

The activity took place July 23, 2026, in Activity Space 2 at Suan Dusit University.
