Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Signs MOU withThe University of Western Australia (UWA)

The Bachelor of Arts in English for Communication Program, under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Dusit University, held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with The University of Western Australia (UWA) to promote academic collaboration aimed at enhancing the capacity of both students and faculty members.

The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-naet, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Relations, who delivered the welcome address. Dr. Olivier Charpenay, Director of the Centre for English Language Teaching (CELT) at UWA, spoke on the significance of the partnership between the two institutions, and Ms. Sarah Shaw, Marketing and Communications Manager, introduced the course offerings available to students under the program.

The collaboration focuses on the development of a Non-Degree International Internship and Study Abroad Program, based on a credit banking system that allows for international experiential learning and academic exchange.

Distinguished guests attending the ceremony included the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Social Development and Human Security, the Director of the Earthquake Monitoring Division, representatives from Charansanitwong Technological College, university executives, and representatives from both internal and external academic units.

The ceremony was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the 5th Floor Conference Room, University Office Building, and was also streamed live via Zoom.
