Finance Division Trains Staff on Finance and Procurement

Suan Dusit University’s Finance Division ran a training program built to sharpen staff working in finance, accounting, and procurement across the university.

Asst.Prof.Dr.Pitauk Chancharoen, President of Suan Dusit University, closed out the event. Kanokwan Khonsue, Director of the Finance Division, opened it, laying out the program’s goals and walking staff through the roles and responsibilities that come with finance, accounting, and procurement work at each division and education center.

Speakers covered public procurement law under the 2017 Royal Act, along with Ministry of Finance procurement regulations: Udomsak Sarnklin, Onsri Ditsutassanachai, and Sawai Kaewpuang led that session. Ratree Jondol and Wanwisa Yimprasert followed with a session on the university’s 2020 budget, finance, and asset management regulations, plus the practical steps involved in day-to-day finance and accounting work. Monnat Chomprasert, Head of the Internal Audit Office, closed things out with guidance on getting finance, accounting, and procurement staff ready for internal audits and for working with the university’s outside auditors.
