Human Capital Development Center Trains Digital Executive Secretaries for Strategic Support Roles
The Human Capital Development Center, Suan Dusit University, ran a practical training course titled “Digital Executive Secretary” under the theme “From Secretary to Executive Partner: Moving from Secretary to Professional Executive Right Hand.”
The course took place on Friday, June 26, 2026, in Room 301, 3rd Floor, Human Capital Development Center, Dr. Sirote Pholpuntin Building, Suan Dusit University. Participants came from government agencies, state enterprises, and private companies.
The training was connected with The Power of SDU Goal 2025–2028 and SDU Goal Plus+. It focused on preparing people in executive secretary roles for future skills, digital work, and new ways of thinking in the quantum era.
The course covered the changing role of executive secretaries in the digital age. It also focused on communication, coordination, proactive work, and the use of digital tools and AI to support executive decision-making.
Participants were encouraged to apply what they learned to real work. The program also helped them think about how to reduce coordination errors, prepare clearer action plans, and develop themselves as strategic support partners for executives.
Representatives from the Administrative Professional and Secretary Association of Thailand joined the program as speakers and discussion guests. They included Ms. Sukanya Nimmanhemin, founding president and current president of the association; Ms. Sukanya Wibulkongsajja, former president and vice president; Ms. Usanee Tulabodi, chair of education; Ms. Nawarat Sompong, association manager; and Ms. Sasinipha Srichanasakul, Assistant to the Executive Chairman of Preserved Food Specialty Co., Ltd. and an executive committee member of the association.
The training included lectures, discussion sessions, and hands-on activities. Asst.Prof. Dr. Anongnat Thananachai, Chair of the Management Program, Faculty of Management Science, Suan Dusit University, led the opening activity and ice-breaking session to prepare participants before the main content.
A discussion session titled “Soft Skills Toolkit: Techniques Not Found in Textbooks but Used by Real Professional Secretaries” focused on soft skills, problem-solving, and professional image. The speakers were Ms. Sasinipha Srichanasakul and Dr. Kanyamas Chuaysomboon, Executive Secretary at Suan Dusit University. Asst.Prof. Dr. Anongnat Thananachai served as the moderator.
The special lecture was titled “Executive Vision for Smart Secretary: From the Digital Executive Secretary to the Quantum Era.” It was delivered by Mr. Kosit “Jay” Chunganuwad, Chairman, President and CEO of IGNITE The Consultant and an adjunct faculty member at the Asian Institute of Technology.
Mr. Chunganuwad shared ideas from his experience in organizational strategy and human potential development. His session also introduced the Quantum Thinker Framework and connected it with the role of modern executive secretaries in the age of AI.
The program also included the “Future-Ready Secretary Workshop,” where participants worked in groups, exchanged ideas, and practiced planning for real work situations. The workshop was led by Asst.Prof. Dr. Anongnat Thananachai.
At the end of the program, Ms. Nanthiya Sruengsawat, Director of the Human Capital Development Center, represented the university in presenting tokens of appreciation to the guest speakers and thanking them for sharing their knowledge and experience.
A total of 90 participants joined the training. The group included support staff, executive secretaries, government officers, state enterprise personnel, and representatives from private organizations. The turnout reflected the growing need for secretary and executive support roles that can work with digital tools and help organizations move forward.
