Institute of Language, Arts and Culture in Collaboration with the School of Tourism and Hospitality Organizes Seminar on “Continuing the Queen Mother’s Royal Initiative: The Identity and Elegance of Thai Textiles”

Asst.Prof. Dr.Pornchanit Kaew-nate, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Affairs, presided over the opening of the seminar titled “Continuing the Queen Mother’s Royal Initiative: The Identity and Elegance of Thai Textiles.”

The seminar featured distinguished speakers, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Sara Meepolkij from the Interdisciplinary Tourism Program and Chair of the Arts and Cultural Preservation Division, School of Tourism and Hospitality, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Duangkamol Aussavamas, Head of the Thai Language and Culture Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Dusit University.

The event aimed to promote appreciation and continuation of the royal initiative in preserving and enhancing the value of Thai textiles as part of Thailand’s cultural identity.

The seminar was held on February 9, 2026, at Activity Space 1, Building 1, Suan Dusit University.
