La-orutis Demonstration School Bangkok Holds Safety Week Project, with Hands-On Training for Emergency Response to Earthquakes and Getting Trapped in Vans and Buses

Safety Week is a yearly thing at La-orutis Demonstration School Bangkok, and this year’s edition leaned hands-on. Earthquakes. Getting stuck in a van, or a bus. Not exactly fun topics, but useful ones — so four officers came in to walk students and teachers through them:

– Napat Loimek, Senior Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Officer
– Choosak Chandra, Senior Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Officer
– Worawut Sa-ngaesaeng, Senior Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Officer
– Attapon Buthongrat, Senior Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Officer

Nobody just sat and listened, though. There were mock scenarios to run through, equipment to actually check by hand, and a few live demos so people could see what the right response looks like instead of just hearing about it.

Held on campus at La-orutis Demonstration School Bangkok, August 4, 2026.
