Nakhon Nayok Education Center Runs Mental Health Crisis Response Workshop
Suan Dusit University’s Nakhon Nayok Education Center opened its doors for a hands-on training session under the “Mental Health Crisis Response Plan Project” — geared toward giving staff and students the knowledge, understanding, and skills they need to look after their own mental health and step in to help others facing a mental health crisis.
Asst.Prof. Acting Sub Lt. Dr.Mongkolchai Boonkaew, Director of the Nakhon Nayok Education Center, opened the workshop. A team of experts from the 4th Regional Mental Health Center in Pathum Thani led the sessions, starting with a talk on “Getting to Know Mental Health: Why Mental Wellbeing Matters,” followed by small-group workshops covering “Knowing Myself,” “Living With Others,” and “First Aid for the Mind Through the 3 S Principle” — all aimed at building awareness around mental health and practical ways to support psychological crisis care.
The workshop ran from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on July 20, 2026, at the Pheung Fah Meeting Room, Suan Dusit University Nakhon Nayok Education Center.
