School of Culinary Arts, Suan Dusit University, Organizes Training Program to Enhance the Potential of Hospitality Personnel for Health-Oriented Services under the 2024 New Breed Graduates Project (Non-Degree Program)

The School of Culinary Arts, Suan Dusit University, organized a training program to enhance the capacity of accommodation business personnel in support of health-oriented services, under the New Breed Graduates and Competent Workforce Project, aligned with the Thai higher education reform policy for the academic year 2024 (B.E. 2567), in the Non-Degree certificate category.

The event began with a report by Ajarn Thitima Kaewmanee, Vice Dean of the School of Culinary Arts, followed by an opening speech and welcome address by Asst. Prof. Sub-Lt. Dr. Thanapat Saengrungreang, Dean of the School. Asst. Prof. Jarunee Witaet, project coordinator, provided an overview of the training program, introduced the curriculum, and explained how to access the SDU Online Course system.

The session also included an engaging activity titled “Healing Words, Healing Hearts: Every Message is a Source of Healing”, led by two expert speakers:

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Supasiri Boonpraves, Chair of the Bachelor of Arts Program in Language and Communication, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Ms. Kanchana Phiu-ngam, Faculty of Education

The training took place on May 24, 2025, at Hall 3, 3rd Floor, Chalermprakiat 50th Anniversary Building, Science Center, Suan Dusit University.
