Non-Degree Training Program Enhances Tourism and Wellness Workforce Standards: Module 2 on Herbal Compress Making and Basic Applications
The Non-Degree Training Program aimed at enhancing workforce standards in the tourism industry, particularly in the wellness service sector, organized a training session under the course Spa Business and Traditional Thai Massage for Health. Module 2 focused on the topic “Making Fresh Herbal Compresses and Basic Compress Applications.”
The training was conducted for Grade 12 students from the Business English Communication Program at Trang Christian School. This session was part of Activity 2 under the same module, held at Trang Christian School, Trang Province.
The event was honored by a welcome address from Dr. Songsakda Chayanukro, Director of Suan Dusit University, Trang Campus. The training was delivered by a team of expert instructors, including Mr. Makharuek Chuchuay and Ms. Thatsanawal Tantiekrat, lecturers in the Tourism Program at the Trang Campus; Ms. Duanghathai Petcharat, a Thai traditional medicine practitioner; and Ms. Piyarat Rattanaphan, a professional registered nurse.
A total of 25 students participated in the training, gaining hands-on experience and practical knowledge in preparing fresh herbal compresses and applying them in basic therapeutic contexts.
