School of Culinary Arts Holds Plant-Rich Diet Course for Health and Sustainability
The School of Culinary Arts, Suan Dusit University, held a course on food design using plant-rich diets for health and sustainability.
The activity was joined by Dr.Chanchana Siripanwattana, Chair of the Advisory Board to the Dean of the School of Culinary Arts; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thita Fucharoen, Chair of the Bachelor of Science Program in Nutrition and Culinary Arts for Health and Anti-Aging; Asst. Prof. Dr. Chommanut Butyot, Chair of the Bachelor of Science Program in Culinary Technology and Service; Asst. Prof. Dr. Saowajee Wisutthiphaet, course instructor; along with lecturers, staff, and participants.
The course presented ideas and approaches for designing plant-rich food for health and sustainability. Participants also joined a cooking practice session from the “Healthy Chef Challenge” project and presented their food dishes.
The activity was held on May 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at ICS42 Food Laboratory, 4th Floor, International Culinary School Building, Science Center, Suan Dusit University.
