SDU Discusses Food Research Grant Collaboration
Suan Dusit University’s Institute for Research and Development ran a meeting to map out research and innovation collaboration in food, building a network and getting ready to submit grant proposals to the Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA), a public organization, under its food-focused funding track.
Assoc.Prof.Dr.Chanasuek Nichanong, Vice President for Administration, Research and Innovation, chaired the meeting. Asst.Prof.Dr.Jitwimol Klaisubun, Director of the Institute for Research and Development, joined along with the university’s own management, researchers, and staff, plus representatives from the Faculty of Agro-Industry (Chumphon Khet Udomsak Campus), Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, and the Cheese Association of Thailand, all trading ideas and input.
The session ran from 10.30 a.m. to noon on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Hoa Chua Meeting Room, Suan Dusit University, as a hybrid session running alongside a Zoom call.
Discussions covered pulling together expertise across the network, setting research direction, and developing project proposals for ARDA’s food funding track, all aimed at getting research and innovation work into practical, sustainable use.
