SDU Lampang Wins 19 Medals and Special Award at Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge 2026

Students and staff from the Culinary Technology and Service Program, Suan Dusit University, Lampang Education Center, achieved strong results at Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge 2026. The team won 19 medals in total, including 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals, along with 1 special award.

The results showed the skills of students and staff in culinary arts and food service, as well as the program’s focus on practical learning and professional skill development.

Gold medals were awarded to Tinnaphop Khunlak in Main Course Duck Junior Chef and Main Course Salmon Challenge Junior Chef; Manapakarn Chanwong in Pasta Challenge Junior Chef and Main Course Salmon Challenge Junior Chef; Siraphop Thiangngoen in Pasta Challenge Junior Chef; Atchara Mueangmoon in Main Course Salmon Challenge Junior Chef; and Theerat Inchai, staff member, in Asian Cuisine Culinary Challenge Professional Chef.

Silver medals were awarded to Wichaya Saenkla in Classic Thai Cuisine Junior Chef; Pongsakorn Songwisu in Pasta Challenge Junior Chef; Siraphop Thiangngoen in Asian Modern Freshwater Fish and Prawn Culinary Junior Chef; and Theerat Inchai, staff member, in Asian Rice and Noodles Challenge Professional Chef.

Bronze medals were awarded to Wichaya Saenkla in Asian Rice and Noodles Challenge Junior Chef; Supisara Soncharoensap in Classic Thai Cuisine Junior Chef, Asian Modern Freshwater Fish and Prawn Culinary Junior Chef, and Asian Rice and Noodles Challenge Junior Chef; Pongsakorn Songwisu in Main Course Beef Junior Chef; Atchara Mueangmoon in Classic Thai Cuisine Junior Chef and Main Course Duck Junior Chef; and Theerat Inchai, staff member, in Asian Modern Freshwater Fish and Prawn Culinary Professional Chef.

In addition, Theerat Inchai received the special Best Ultimate Asian Chef Award, Professional Chef, an honorary award for outstanding professional work in Asian cuisine.

Other students also joined the competition to develop their skills and gain experience. They included Tinnaphop Khunlak in Pasta Challenge Junior Chef and Supalai Natsiri in Main Course Beef Junior Chef.

This achievement is another source of pride for Suan Dusit University, Lampang Education Center, which continues to develop students in culinary arts and food service with knowledge, hands-on experience, and professional skills for the food and service industry.
