SDU Preps for ELIB-Matrix Library Users Meeting

Suan Dusit University, working with iGroup (Asia Pacific) Limited and Book Promotion & Service Co., Ltd., ran a planning meeting ahead of the upcoming ELIB and Matrix Library User Group Conference, themed “AI Library Agent.”

Asst.Prof.Thipsuda Kidlerd, Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, chaired the session. Dr.Suthan Mumdaeng, Director of the Office of Special Affairs, Pansawat Udomsetchai, Director of the Facilities Division, and Asst.Prof.Dr.Supasiri Boonprawes, Chair of the Bachelor of Arts in Language and Communication program, joined, along with management and representatives from both partner companies, mapping out the framework and logistics for the upcoming event. The planning session ran at Activity Room 4, 4th Floor, One World Library (OWL).

The main conference itself lands on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Suan Dusit University, bringing together administrators and education staff from universities nationwide who use the ELIB and Matrix library automation systems. The goal: trade ideas on applying AI to library services, sharpen search capability, improve knowledge management, and build service innovations that actually match what today’s students and researchers need.
