SDU Tourism School Teaches Green Campground Design

The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management is running classes under its “New Generation Graduates” project, part of a wider push to grow Thailand’s talent pool under the country’s higher education reform policy. The non-degree certificate course targets quality, sustainable tourism businesses through “The Art and Science of Bio Innovative Tourism and a Green Campground Business.”

Module 2 covered campground accommodation design for zero-carbon operations, split into two topics: landscape ecology for site management, and choosing plants suited to campground design.

Classes ran July 4–5, 2026, at Kaha Hall, Suan Dusit Place Hotel, and Suan Somdet Phra Sri Nakharin Park, Bangkok.
