Student Services Division, Suphanburi Campus, Holds “Lao Wiang: Living in Harmonious Coexistence” Project, Activity 2

The stoves were going at Suan Dusit University’s Suphanburi Campus this week as the Student Services Division marked the second activity in its “Lao Wiang: Living in Harmonious Coexistence” project. Preserving arts, culture, and heritage was the goal, and this round tackled it through food — a cooking demonstration walking students through traditional Lao Wiang dishes from start to finish.

Dr.Waranee Vessoontorntep opened proceedings in her role as Vice President for the Suphanburi Campus. From there, it was hands-on: staff paired up with students at their stations, everyone learning the recipes together rather than just watching from the sidelines.

Doors opened at 8.30 a.m. and the cooking wrapped by noon on Monday, July 20, 2026, held in National Culinary Practice Room 1 at Building Pramote 2, Suan Dusit University Suphanburi Campus.
