Suan Dusit Place Hotel, Office of Special Affairs, Suan Dusit University, in collaboration with the Thai-Muslim Business Association, organizes a training program for the Global Muslim Friendly Hospitality Index (GMHI) certification.

The Multi-Purpose Building Project for Professional Business Operations (Suan Dusit Place Hotel), under the Office of Special Affairs, Suan Dusit University, collaborated with the Thai Muslim Trade Association (TMTA) to organize a training session. The objective of the training was to pursue the Global Muslim Friendly Hospitality Index (GMHI) ranking.

Dr. Sutun Mumdang, Director of the Office of Special Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony and extended a warm welcome to the team of expert speakers.

The esteemed speakers included:

  • Dr. Fuad Kansan, Vice President of the Thai Muslim Trade Association (TMTA)
  • Dr. Ninariman Binima, Head of the Muslim-Friendly Tourism Service Index Committee

The speakers delivered a comprehensive lecture covering key topics, including:

  • A deep understanding of the meaning of Islam.
  • Familiarization with Halal standards and Halal kitchens.
  • Guidelines for providing Muslim-friendly services.
  • The significance of obtaining the Muslim-Friendly Service Index ranking.

The training activity took place on November 12, 2568 (2025), at the Kala Room, Suan Dusit Place Hotel.
