Suan Dusit University Executives, Faculty, and Staff Join the 70th National Teachers’ Day Celebration

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sukhum Chaleysub, Advisory Chairman to the President of Suan Dusit University and Chairman of the Teachers’ Day Public Relations Committee, alongside Dr. Waranee Vessoontorntep, Vice President for Suphan Buri Campus, led a delegation of university executives, faculty, and staff to the 70th National Teachers’ Day 2026. Organized by the Secretariat Office of the Teachers’ Council of Thailand (Khurusapha), Ministry of Education, the event took place on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Khurusapha Auditorium. The 70th Teachers’ Day was held under the theme ‘The Mother and Teacher of the Land’ to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The event aimed to promote and recognize educational professionals who have demonstrated exceptional merit and made significant contributions to the field of education, serving as role models for future generations. The celebration utilized a hybrid format, combining onsite activities at the Khurusapha grounds and auditorium with an online experience via the Teachers’ Day platform. This coordinated effort spanned both the central region and provincial areas, with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and Provincial Education Offices nationwide serving as regional hubs for the celebrations.
