Suan Dusit University Holds the 2025 Annual Retreat Meeting
Suan Dusit University held its 2025 Annual Retreat Meeting, during which Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitauk Chancharoen, President of Suan Dusit University, delivered a welcome address to the University Council members. Dr. Tanom Intarakumnerd, Chairman of the Suan Dusit University Council, then addressed the objectives and significance of the 2025 Annual Retreat Meeting.
Following the opening session, the University Council members visited the Suan Dusit Exhibition, showcasing key concepts and strategic plans toward organizational excellence for the year 2025, presented by 28 units of Suan Dusit University, as follows:
1. Independent Units: Suan Dusit Home Bakery, Media and Printing Services Center (Graphic Site), Suan Dusit Academic Testing Service Center, Human Capital Development Center, Processed Food Operations Project, and Suan Dusit Poll
2. Faculties, Schools, and Graduate School: Faculty of Education, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Management Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Nursing, School of Culinary Arts, School of Tourism and Hospitality, School of Law and Politics, and the Graduate School
3. La-orutis Demonstration School
4. Campuses and Education Centers: Suphan Buri Campus, Lampang Education Center, Nakhon Nayok Education Center, Hua Hin Education Center, and Trang Education Center
5. Institutes and Offices: Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, Office of Academic Promotion and Registration, Institute of Language, Art and Culture, Research and Development Institute, Office of Special Affairs, and Office of Community Innovation
6. Student Development Division
After touring the exhibition, the University Council members raised additional inquiries and provided constructive recommendations to further enhance operational development across the units.
In the afternoon session, the University Council members, together with the University Executive Committee, listened to opinions and recommendations from student representatives from faculties/schools, campuses, and education centers. This was followed by a discussion session in which the University Council members exchanged views and feedback with the student representatives. Subsequently, student representatives from faculties/schools, campuses, and education centers participated in the Zip & Walk Suan Dusit University activity, visiting key locations including the Yaowapa Building, Luang Pu Chai Mongkol Shrine, the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, One World Library, and Dusit Bistro & Co-Working Space.
The 2025 Annual Retreat Meeting of Suan Dusit University was organized with the primary objectives of reviewing the performance of various units, enhancing strategic management efficiency, and creating an open platform for dialogue between university administrators and student representatives. The aim was to advance educational development that genuinely responds to learners’ needs. This event marked a significant step in uniting personnel and students to collaboratively drive Suan Dusit University forward in a creative, stable, and sustainable manner.
The meeting was held on 17 December 2025 at Raktakanit Auditorium, Suan Dusit University.
