Suan Dusit University Hosts Special Lecture: “Cybersecurity in Action—Real-World Insights from National Cyber Threat Defense”

BANGKOK – On January 31, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-nate, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs at Suan Dusit University, presided over the opening of a special keynote session titled “Cybersecurity in Action: Real-World Insights from National Cyber Threat Defense.” The event was held at the University Office Conference Room, 5th Floor, Suan Dusit University.

The university was honored to welcome two distinguished experts as guest speakers: AVM Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary-General of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), and Mr. Piyachat Wisuttiareerak, a specialist from the Cybersecurity Professional Group.

During the session, the speakers shared firsthand experiences and strategic approaches to responding to large-scale national cyber threats. The lecture aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge and a deeper understanding of the evolving digital landscape, emphasizing the critical importance of robust cybersecurity infrastructure in today’s interconnected world.
