Suan Dusit University Organizes Activity on the Development of Local Wisdom Recipes from Suphanburi Jasmine Rice to Preserve Cultural Heritage and Indigenous Knowledge

Suan Dusit University recently held an activity focused on developing traditional food recipes using Suphanburi jasmine rice, aimed at preserving local culture and wisdom. The event was part of the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (PGC-SDU) for the fiscal year 2025.

The project was organized by the Faculty of Education, Primary Education Program, Suan Dusit University, Suphanburi Campus, and took place on 12 July 2025 at Village Headman Office, Village No.1, KhoKhoktao Subdistrict, Mueang Suphanburi District, Suphanburi Province.

This initiative reflects Suan Dusit University’s commitment to fostering community engagement and supporting the conservation of Thailand’s rich agricultural and culinary heritage through academic collaboration.
