Suan Dusit University Participates in Academic Seminar “STKS New ERA: One Click to Science Knowledge – AI & Open Science”

Suan Dusit University participated in the academic seminar titled “STKS New ERA: One Click to Science Knowledge – AI & Open Science,” organized by the Science and Technology Knowledge Services (STKS) under the Science Library of the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research, Department of Science Service.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Potjaman Thajin, Deputy Director-General Acting Director-General of the Department of Science Service. The seminar aimed to enhance access to science, technology, and innovation (STI) information through integrated search systems that provide convenient, fast, and user-oriented services in the digital era.

Assistant Professor Dr. Tipsuda Kidlert, Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, Suan Dusit University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ueararee Jantra, Assistant Director, served as speakers in Session 3: Participatory Workshop on the topic “Designing Information Services for Science, Technology, and Environment in the Era of AI and Open Science.”

In addition, Mr. Teeraboon Dejudom, Assistant Director, Ms. Pradabsri Netnee, Head of Library Division, and staff from the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology participated in an exhibition booth titled “One World Library,” presenting concepts and innovations in knowledge management that integrate information resources in the digital age, in line with the “New ERA” approach emphasizing seamless access to knowledge.

The seminar brought together executives and personnel from over 120 organizations within the science and technology information network, including higher education institutions, researchers, technology developers, and information professionals. Approximately 250 participants attended both on-site and online to exchange best practices and approaches for developing science and technology information systems.

The event was held at Wittayawithi Conference Room, 6th Floor, Scientist Building, Department of Science Service.
