Suan Dusit University Partners with iGroup for “AI Library Agent” User Group Meeting, Driving the Future of Library Innovation
Suan Dusit University teamed up with iGroup (Asia Pacific) Limited and Book Promotion & Service Co., Ltd. to host a User Group Meeting 2026 under the theme “AI Library Agent,” aimed at building knowledge exchange around artificial intelligence and its applications in library services — pushing forward information-service development for the digital era.
Asst.Prof. Dr.Pitauk Chancharoen, President of Suan Dusit University, presided over the opening ceremony. Asst.Prof. Thipsuda Kidlerd, Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, delivered the welcome report outlining the event’s goals. Mr. Pote Narittakurn, CEO of iGroup (Asia Pacific) Limited, gave the keynote address on “AI Library Agent,” sharing ideas on how artificial intelligence can shape the next generation of libraries — spanning user services, information retrieval, knowledge management, and efficient information-resource administration through AI Agents that respond to user needs quickly and accurately.
The event also featured a Product Highlight session introducing new technology and library-management innovations, along with a Q&A and Experience Sharing session giving attendees from institutions nationwide the chance to trade insights, ideas, and approaches for putting AI to real use in their own libraries. More than 31 institutions turned out for the gathering, organized in partnership between One World Library, the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, the Office of Special Affairs, the Buildings and Grounds Division, the Public Relations Division, Suan Dusit University, iGroup (Asia Pacific) Limited, and Book Promotion & Service Co., Ltd. — held at the Multi-Purpose Space, 1st Floor, One World Library (OWL) Building, Suan Dusit University.
