The Academic and Career Counseling Center of Suan Dusit University accompanied selected students to attend the Presentation Ceremony of the 2025 Royal Scholarships for Underprivileged Children, organized by the Thai Social Welfare Council under the Royal Patronage. The event took place on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at the 3rd-floor conference room of the Navamindradhiraj Building, Ratchawithi Road, Bangkok.
The Royal Scholarship program aimed to expand educational opportunities for financially disadvantaged students, reduce inequality, and support continued quality learning. Its objectives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely:
SDG 1: No Poverty
SDG 4: Quality Education
Participation in this initiative also formed part of the university’s commitment to advancing “The Power of SDU,” particularly the Power of Student & Alumni: Ready to Grow and Give Back, which focuses on empowering students to develop their potential and return to positively contribute to society.
During the ceremony, Suan Dusit University supported its scholarship recipients in receiving the scholarship funds, certificates, and the official scholarship handbook provided by the Thai Social Welfare Council. Staff members from the Academic and Career Counseling Center accompanied the students and provided close supervision throughout the event.
The Center expressed its gratitude to the Thai Social Welfare Council under the Royal Patronage for granting opportunities and hope to Suan Dusit students. It reaffirmed its commitment to advancing scholarship initiatives that promote equity, stability, and improved quality of life for students in a continuous and sustainable manner.
